Facial Cosmetic

Dr. Lalh graduated form a 6 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program that included him obtaining a Medical Degree and a 2-year certificate in General Surgery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.  During his surgical training, he had extensive training in facial cosmetic surgery.  Currently Dr. Lalh is the Co-Director of the Facial Esthetics program put on at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and the Department of Anatomy.  This is a multi-disciplinary program to teach physicians, dentists, nurses and other health care professions about facial anatomy, cosmetic facial assessment, and treatment using neuromodulators (i.e., Botox) and facial fillers.  This is one of the few approved university based cosmetic programs in North America.  Dr. Lalh also has helped develop the guidelines for the Alberta Dental Association and College for Facial Esthetic Therapies and Adjunctive Procedures.  Dr. Lalh enjoys working with patients to improve their facial esthetic concerns via a multitude of non-surgical and surgical treatments options best suited to their needs and wants.
